Avocado Store ist Deutschlands größter Marktplatz für Öko-Produkte. Sowohl kleinen als auch großen Händlern wird auf dieser Plattform Raum gegeben, ihre Produkte zu vertreiben. So wird den Kunden ein gutes Angebot an grünen Produkte gegeben.

PG: Avocado Store ist Deutschlands größter kategorieübergreifender Online Marktplatz für Öko-Produkte.
NB: Wie ist euer Unternehmen entstanden?
PG: Die Idee ist im Sommer 2009 bei einem Treffen von Stephan Uhrenbacher und Philipp Gloeckler in Berlin entstanden.
NB: Wer steckt genau dahinter?
PG: Gegründet wurde Avocado Store von Philipp Gloeckler und Stephan Uhrenbacher. Heute ist es ein achtköpfiges Team.
NB: Was war bisher das beeindruckendste Erlebnis, euer größter Erfolg?
PG: Unser beeindruckendstes Erlebnis war der Gewinn des WirtschaftsWochen Gründerpreis 2010.
NB: Was waren die größten Herausforderungen oder die größte Niederlage/ Zweifel?
PG: Es gab ein paar Anfangsschwierigkeiten. So haben wir zum Beispiel zu lange Research für eine Marktplatz Software betrieben, aber keine passende gefunden. Am Ende haben wir dann alles selbst programmiert.
NB: Wodurch unterscheidet ihr euch von anderen Ecommerce Unternehmen/ ganz konkret euren Mitbewerbern? Was macht ihr besser?

PG: Wir haben eine wirkliche Marktplatz Software entwickelt. Ein Produkt kann bei uns von x Händlern angeboten werden, welche in direktem Preisvergleich stehen. Der Kunde kann frei entscheiden, bei welchem Händler er das angebotene Produkt kaufen möchte. Jeder Händler hat einen eigenen Backend Zugang in welchem er seine Produkte und Bestellungen verwalten kann. Ein Produkt, welches auf der Avocado Store Datenbank eingepflegt ist, kann von jedem Händler in wenigen Klicks angeboten werden. Außerdem überprüft Avocado Store die Qualität der angelegten Produkte.
NB: Was glaubt ihr, macht euren Erfolg aus?
PG: Unser Erfolg basiert hauptsächlich auf unserem Team, unserer Software und dem wachsenden Markt.
NB: Was habt ihr euch für Ziele für die nächsten fünf Jahre gesetzt? Wo wollt ihr hin?
PG: Wir wollten ein internationaler Öko-Marktplatz werden.
NB: Wie relevant ist für euch der nicht-deutsche Markt, welche Pläne habt ihr außerhalb von Deutschland?
PG: Sehr relevant.

PG: Das Marktplatz-Thema ist sehr interessant, da es vielen neuen Teilnehmern ermöglicht, Umsatz übers Internet zu machen. Zudem ermöglicht es dem Kunden das größtmögliche Angebot.

PG: Einen Schritt weiter zu kommen.
